The
House Manager takes the leadership role in front of the house to recruit,
organize, and train ushers. The House Manager is responsible for inspiring the
ushers and those who greet the public to represent the best of friendly manners
and helpful attitude that we want all audience members to experience when they
attend LCT Productions The ushers will have the same outgoing approach to the
audience as the Hospitality Crew. The House Manager will be the person to help
solve any problems that may arise with the audience.
The Hospitality
Crew is the smile on the face of Longview Community Theatre. The Hospitality
Crew will serve as greeters at every performance. They will man any booth or
promotional table deemed necessary in the lobby during productions. They will
help with the intermission refreshments. Arrange for the cast to have drinks,
snacks and surprises backstage and assist the Board with the opening night
reception and
help organize a cast party. The Hospitality Crew may be ushers but their
function is to be greeters and to support the House Manager.
